Cholestasis of pregnancy
I am 29 weeks pregnant. I was diagnosed with high sgot and sgpt (117 and 145) in 23 weeks. But now from 1 month, my liver enzymes are fine after changes in my diet. Doctor stopped udiliv 1 month back and my liver enzymes are not elevated. So, do i still need to undergo delivery in 37th week?

Get serum bile acids done as cholestasis is mainly diagnosed with bile acids. And timing of delivery will be decided based upon the level of bile acids if they are raised then delivery is indicated at 37 weeks

In IHCP, early delivery is recommended only on the basis of the severity... Severity is determined by s.bile acid levels... If that test is not available then very high levels of sgot n sgpt might indicate severe cholestasis.. so if the ot/pt   levels are normal and u r not symptomatic then there is no need for delivery at 37 wks.. but if any of them exists get a bile acid test done and if value is more than 40 then early delivery is recommended... Fetal movements should be carefully monitored
