Chlamydia Trachomatis IgA positive
My chlamydia IgA report came positive after that I consulted a doctor and based on his suggestion I completed a 3 day course of Azithromycin ( single dose of 1000mg on day 1 then 500mg on day 2 and 3). My genital ulcer has not healed yet. Does that means I still have chlamydia and how long IgA antibodies last in body so that I can have another test to confirm if the infection is still present in the body or not. Kindly advise.
