Hello. I’m glad that you came up with this question. You need to build a rapport with your child. Make sure he interacts/ plays with peers his age. You need to give your child space to grow, to explore. Helicopter parenting will make the child averse/curious to a lot of things that he is told not to indulge in. Screen time should be 30 mins tops. Make him a lot of delicious home made recipes so that the snacks from outside are less consumed. Again cheat days are fine too. Balanced diet is the key. Do not force things on to him. Make sure curiosity brings the best out of him. No negative reinforcement. No scolding. But stern no’s are appreciated. Make a lot of art/craft/plants available to him. Ask him to keep his prized possessions safe. Each child is special. Make him know that he is too, at all costs.
