My daughter has viral fever and is taking medicine suggested by her pediatrician. Its been 2 days she is having constant fever going up and down. Also she is not eating and also gagging a lot. Is this a cause for worry? She is taking ascoril and maxtra for cough. Calpol for fever.

It is normal during viral illness to reduce their oral intake. If she is vomiting or having abdominal pain or jaundice and she has reduced urine , I think review with your doctor is mandatory. Better to evaluate further if fever is persisting and she is becoming more sick than the beginning.
