Child Facing Hair & Nail Issues
My daughter is facing issues with her hair and nails. Her hair growth is very slow, and there are a few small patches on her scalp where hair is not growing at all, creating visible bald spots. These areas seem to be gradually increasing. Along with this, her nails are also not growing properly. They appear thin, brittle, and tend to break or chip easily. She is otherwise active but thin . We are concerned about these symptoms and would like to understand what could be the possible reasons behind this. Kindly guide us on what steps we should take next.

The image you have shown should some violet patches too in the scalp with areas of sparse hair. It would be better if you timely consult a dermatologist as it could be sign of an auto inflammatory disease.
