Child Behaviour Issues
My daughter is 11+ years old, she does not talk about her feelings to us as parents, nor open up with anyone. She is having very much anger, cries on small issues, very shy with others and not even bold enough to deal with her friends and other children if they talk any bad things to her. She is very much stubborn and always does things according to her likes and never listen to what we say. Also not take care of small things at home like keeping her clothes, shoes etc on place, not even wishes us good morning or good night etc. She is very much irritate on small things if does not happen according to her likes and feel frustrated of things does not happen according to her. etc. Please suggest what I should do. I have a remarriage and her father is her step father. Please help. Thanks

A child responds in different ways to stress. Unlike physical stress, emotional stress is invisible and often more painful. Your daughter might be responding to that stress by her behaviour. Try and talk to her one on one. Take her for a visit alone, do what she likes for a couple of days and you might open her up emotionally. Get to know what really troubles her, is it her school, friends, teacher or her step father. Once you know you can work constructively or seek help from a child psychologist. Make the first move
