Chicken pox marks
It has been 2 weeks since I had chicken pox.But after the scabs came out, it left white marks over those places, which may be due to post  inflammatory hypopigmentation as told by my doctor friend over phone after I worriedly called her. I may consult doctor if these marks don't fade on it's own.But till then I want to try some home remedies. I have heard coconut water, aloe vera gel helps in fadings pox marks. Pl guide me by telling what home remedies I can try to vanish this kind of marks.

Chicken pox scars need specific therapy once the active infection has settled. Most of them resolve without leaving marks and scars if appropriate therapy (Usually Aciclovir – an antiviral drug) was started in the golden period (within 3 days of having chicken pox). Many of them can still resolve spontaneously in a time frame of few weeks. The remaining stubborn ones need appropriate therapy based on the amount of scarring and pigmentation.
