Occasional Pain can occur while deep breathing after pleural effusion, even if pleural effusion becomes better. But the concerning thing here is there is no weight gain but weight loss. My suggestion will be to get a second opion.  Need to know how was your tb diagnosed?  Was CT Done?

Have to see your recent cxr before stopping tb medications. Cause of chest pain most likely is pleural thickening but weight lost is worrisome. Need detailed history and cxr
