Chest CT or lung CT scan are same ?
I want to take pft test on basis of my doctor's advice for safe side Few months back,my doctor suggested me to take medicines for the "bronchitis"..I had been suffering from "thick phlegm and sputum"..He prescribed some medicines,After that I got normal condition.. But for safe side,I want to take "pft test and ct chest scan and ct lung scan!!! Is both ct scan chest and ct scan lungs are same??or both are different.. What is need to do for Ct scan chest and ct scan lungs?? Please give me your valuable answers

can go for chest xray and pft for detailed analysis..based on chest xray reports ct scan can be advised..else ct scan not needed!

Both are same , needed detailed history, do a online consultation with a pulmonologist for further evaluation and management

CT chest involves the lung as well as other chest structures . But why do you want to do a CT / Pft ? Any symptoms persisting ? If you are asymptomatic , tests are not required
