Lung scan report
My father got his ct lung scan done yesterday . Report says. Subtle areas post inflammatory/infectious fibrosis in both upper lobes . Patchy air trapping in patenchyma bilaterally. And a small paraseptal bulla in left upper lobe. Could any doc please help me understand it. I n very worried since he is a smoker.

please forgive for over simplifying if I say he has devloped patchy disease and the lung has thinned out like a balloon at places  and is very thick at places decreasing elasticity and increasing plasticity of the lung by which he adjusts to change in oxygen requirements slowly
