As per your history it is gastritis . Avoid spicy oily foods , citrus fruits . Avoid junk food. Dinner shld b competed 1-2 hrs before bed time . Keep the child sleep in left lateral position .
Based on your description, your 3.5-year-old son’s symptoms are very suggestive of chronic acid reflux (GERD – Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease).
Small frequent meals – avoid overfeeding
• Avoid reflux-triggering foods:
• Chocolate, citrus fruits/juices, tomato-based foods, spicy/oily food, mint
• Avoid too much milk before sleep
• Keep him upright 20–30 minutes after meals
Continue Enterogermina as advised and
Junior Lansol (Lansoprazole) for 4–8 weeks
You have not mentioned which was the primary problem for which Augmentin was given.
Try simple measures for now:
Light, non - greasy, non fried, non spicy food like khitchri, toasted bread, boiled potatoes, banana, cucumber, papaya in fruits, Marie arrowroot biscuits etc. Avoid too much protein for now ( like dals)
Give small meals but more frequent
At least 2 - 3 hours before sleep the dinner should be finished
You can carry on Lanszol Junior for a month too without concern for now
Next Steps
Get stool test done - routine/ microscopic and for H pylori antigen. If still not helpful we may go in for more extensive tests like food allergies, gluten intolerance
