Hiccups are common in younger children due to stomach distention as well stomach irritation.
If this has been a regular problem and not associated with regurgitation, vomiting or stomach pain - don’t worry, child will grow out of it. Avoid spicy food, fatty and fried food. Give smaller meal at a time.
If it’s a recent development you can again take care of the food similarly, encourage non acidic food like papaya, banana, cucumber, khitchri. Consider Lanzol junior for a week. Try home made digestive churna made of roasted jeera, hing, ajwain and rock salt
