My brother has suffering from Rectm cancer we done 1.5 cycle of Chemo and 25 day radiation before surgery .after surgery we also Done 1.5 cycle of Chemo after 5 months he feel pain & in doctor checkup find recurrence cancer in rectum after we start again chemo .please give me best opinion for this

Dear sir,
For a recurrent rectal cancer the best treatment is surgery. However, surgery is possible only when there is sufficient space between the tumor and healthy tissue. This needs to be seen on CT scan. Please consult a surgical oncologist.
