Bleeding in early pregnancy is a common phenomenon.but it is not called menstruation.

Menses is different Bleeding in early pregnancy is different! Both are very common! So just bleeding doesn't rule out pregnancy! Other sign and symptoms also need to be taken into consideration with that! The nature of bleeding in both conditions is different!
