Chalazions are getting bigger
I have currently 3 chalazions in my left eye since August 2022 and one in right eye. previously I had 3 chalazions in my right eye which was surgically removed on 2nd March 2022. The current left lid chalazion is inflammed and hurts and is getting bigger in size unlike other chalazions, even though I am using hot compressors and the proper medications.i really don't want to go through that painful surgery again and again I don't know the reason for this reoccurring chalazions.also i want to know how effective is steroid injections? Should I go for injections or with the surgery. Now I am feeling that I am being cursed I am preparing for Upsc with these complications it's very hard to manage all of that Please help me what should I do

Recurrent lid infection can be due to refractive error,  allergy,  eye strain. You can get them addressed. Avoid touching eyes. Continue warm compresses..
