Cervix cerclage
Hello doctor I went for anamoly scanning at 22 week and got to know that my cervix was short with 6mm and done immediately MC Donald cervix cerclage currently I am in 23 week.Now I am in complete bed rest except using washroom. Also I am taking progesterone Susten SR 300 mg . My question is : Is it ok to use washroom and can I take head bath ? When I should have my next follow up scan? Will able to make full term pregnancy? Any suggestions doctor as this is my first pregnancy. Enclose : Anomaly scanning report

I hope you will appreciate that you can avoid going to the washroom but you can't wish away your need to pass urine and stools. And passing urine and stools in the bedpan is going to be more difficult and cumbersome than going to the washroom. Whether you use washroom or you use bedpan, intra-abdominal  pressure will rise. So the most practical thing is to use washroom.

U can hve head bath or go to washroom,rest u follow ur doctors advice,discuss with her ur concerns

Yes....you can take head bath,f/0 scan @28weeks,if labour pain started early,or bleeding pv,pregnancy needed to be discontinue...if uneventful...vil be continued till ter

You can use washroom and you can have headbath. Take complete bed rest with foot end elevation. Follow up scan can be done after 2 weeks or as advised by your doctor. Continue progesterone.
