Cervical spondylosis
Pain started around 20 days ago , it was sudden pain in neck and shoulder region and numbness and tingling in the right index finger and thumb, took an xray and reports said it is cervical spondylosis and mil narrowing at c5 and c6 , today took an mri and waiting for results. Is this reversible, it is really scary to know this not fixable, we are all panicking and he is in lot of pain . please give some recommendations if allopathy will work or physiotherapy or homeopathy. He will soon have to get a job which will be a desk job. with this condition how will he work?

Dont panic You are having these symptoms due to Nerve compression, so avoid carrying weights on head, Reduce screen time Avoid activities aggravating pain Start Analgesics and neurotropic medication and as pain decreases start physiotherapy

Spondylosis mean..arthritis changes occuring at the vertebra level. Mid narrowing at C5-C6 level..due to narrowing at this level nerve compression occurs. because of this nerve compression tingling  sensation present at thumb and index finger...
Next Steps
1)wear soft collar neck..and tablets for nerve compression and pain... 2) physiotherapy.
