Asked for Female, 27 Years

Hi, I m currently 18 weeks pregnant, in my recent anamoly scan, doctor has told me that my cervical length is 4.1cm which is low and asked me to do cervical cerclage surgery to prevent preterm labour. Below are my reports of a amply scan. Is this surgery is safe during 18 weeks pregnancy. Does it effect my baby and is there are any side effects I have to take care.
