Cervical disc prolapse
Hi I have been diagnosed with c5,6 cervical disc prolapse due to which pain is radiating on my right arm. Need to understand whether rest for 6 weeks is better or immediate medication with physiotherapy is advisable.

If your pain has come on recently, then waiting for few weeks is adviceable. If the pain has been there for a few weeks, then you can start with the physiotherapy along with taking painkillers. The pain will take a few weeks to resolve and there may be persistent for many weeks until it improves.
