I'm 13 weeks pregnant now, I had my usg on 9th week and that time my cervix length is 2.8 cms, doctor suggested I might have cervical Cerclage in fifth month, but my friends suggested it should be done by 14 weeks is this correct? And does this procedure is painful? Can I walk regularly for half n hour daily after this procedure?

If length is less than 2.5
N diameter is more than 8 mm
Circalage should be done after 12 weeks
