What should be the advice for cervical ectropion in second trimester of pregnancy?
My friend is 6months pregnant and has been diagoned with this. Her doctor has not suggested for bed rest but she is anxious whether to do it or not as she had mild spotting for alternate day during last week.

Bed rest is not needed in ectopion
but if a patient has spotting then it needs to be evaluated
cause could be a low lying placenta, cervical polyp,
Pelvic examination was done so cervical polyp has been ruled out by her gynac
Next Steps
see the position of placenta and discuss the possible reasons for spotting with her gynac
