Periods stopped
My periods are regular always , however this month they are delayed, it's been 5 days over already. Else they used to come 2-3 days before the date. Last month I had a throat allergic infection for which doctor gave steroid delza 6 twice a day for 5 days. Is it due to steroids? When should I see a gynaecologist?

Please urine pregnancy test first...to rule out pregnancy (if not done family planning operation)
21-35days cycle length is normal....
Steroids taken for short duration doesn't affect periods...

Steroids might not be the issue here.any stress or infection might delay periods.wait for another week if u are sure u are not pregnant and have a check up.connect for further guidance.

Short course of steroid usually does not delay periods
Cycle length up to 37 is considered normal
Beyond that you need treatment
