Cerclage and pprom history
I had my emergency cerclage at 19 weeks due to cervix shortening and pprom in 26 weeks due to which I had to deliver my baby in 26 weeks. She spent almost 2.5 months in hospital in nicu with so many complications. I would like to know possibilities where I can carry baby to term if I ever concieve again. Can pprom be prevented in my second pregnacy .. doctors told reason for pprom was vaginal infection

PPROM is NOT always prevented. however, you and your partner should avoid smoking. Check for vaginal infection in pregnancy and treat with antibiotics if needed. In next pregnancy, please do serial TVS from 14 weeks at every 2-3 weeks interval, to see the cervical length. if cervical length is less than 2.5 cm, then only cerclage will be helpful. Otherwise cerclage is NOtTrequired.

Ideal time to consult a doctor is before conception. Then you can plan your pregnancy. You might need cervical circlage in next pregnancy also but it should be earlier this time may be around 14-15 weeks with hormonal support and good USG monitoring.
Next Steps
Consult a gynaecologist for preconcetional counseling.
