Hi..cervical length 3 cm is normal but needs follow up.Rest in pregnancy depends upon the reason for cervical encirclage (whether taken prophylactic or emergency ).Sitting for long time does not affect the baby growth, but can cause discomfort  like back pain ..take a break in between and sit with gud back support..and follow your obstetrician advice after each review.

3 cms length  is normal.Stitch has no impact on Baby growth. Sitting  for long time  in any pregnancy  is difficult. Take frequent breaks, and try lying  down for a while.
