Central fever after ten days from brain

Asked for Male, 22 Years

My brother met with an accident. He was diagnosed as brain injury with 1cm of internal bleeding and which has stopped as per CT scan. It's been 10 days he is in ICU and he was able to talk recognise and all. But now he is suffering from high fever with variation. Doctors said its Central fever and they are trying to control his temperature externally and clinically. It was 99 F. Is there any threat to his life?
