CEA 5.1 for 2 years tear
Based on health Screening test done for last two years consistently showing CEA LEVEL just above average level that is 5.06 . I consulted with doctor they said it need to do colonoscopy to know more . What is the medical emergency in this case ? Please advice.

Why did you do CEA? DO YOU HAVE ANY CHANGE IN BOWEL MOVEMENTS BLOOD IN STOOL WEIGHT LOSS OR LUMP IN ABDOMEN.
FIRST GET STOOL ROUTINE TEST AND USG ABDOMEN. CEA IS IRRELEVANT WITHOUT SYMPTOMS. RAISED IN MANY CONDITIONS. IT DOESN'T MEAN CANCER.
