Your son is in the phase of erupting back teeth and having both milk as well permanent teeth. You can get them checked physically and follow the advise. Most of the time, it doesn't need any much interventions. Take care

Hi,
As you have noticed cavities it is first important to have them filled .Once filled they will no longer harbor food and bacteria. As he has bleeding gums you may also have to get a scaling done. Once his oral health has improved he will need to maintain it.Any well known commercial brand like Colgate,Closeup etc will do the job. It is however important that he uses a suitable medium bristled brush and brushes twice a day under your supervision at least initially.A lot of times kids just tend to chew on their brush and the chore is done. Also make sure to change his toothbrush regularly.Fraying bristles are signs that the brush is past the use by date.
