Cavity in teeth
I have cavity in teeth. Doctor did filling but did not do any capping on it. I forgot to ask him the reason for it. Can anyone tell me if capping is required in all cases of cavity.

Hello, General after Filling there is no need of capping. Capping is done in condition when the tooth is weak or RCT treated.

Capping is required only if tooth structure is weak and need support. Generally after filling on tooth, capping is not required.
