I get cavity filled from dentist, after some days I feel sensitivity problem. He suggested e for re filling of cavity but after few days same sensitivity problem.
I share this info with other dentist he checked and told me that your tooth is drilled to depth reached at nerve , so no solution except root canal.

it is not necessary that it needs RCT. some times after composite fillings we do experience the problem of sensitivity. in that case we can opt for other type of filling for few days. pl consult another doctor before going for rct. you can share your xray with us.

In my opinion fillings can be sensitive for a week or even a month.one option is wait for some days and then decide.
Or try and get your filling changed, maybe it need some other filling material that lowers the thermal sensitivity.
Last option is rct
Please share the xray that the other dentist took.
It's true that if the filling of one tooth runs deep, then there can be sensitivity.
And rct might be needed

Hi . If the cavity is deep and the filling is done accordingly , you will get this issue . To save your tooth it should end up with root canal treatment followed by crown . You can take anti biotic course but not for longer run.
