Thank you for asking question.
It's been just 4 weeks. Any fracture or even soft tissue injury would require atleast 6-8 weeks of time to heal completely.
Regarding pain in other area, when fracture happens it's always accompanied with soft tissue injury in the vicinity. That is the reason for pain.
I don't think you need to worry. Just take bed rest at present, do not go for exertional activities, it will be fine.
Next Steps
If you have consistent pain even after bed rest, you should go for a consult.
Can u walk 4 steps?
1)If it was a fracture X ray,
film is required to comment,
2)if other than Fracture area has pain there may be sprain or other minor fracture.
What sort of injury was it. Fracture or ligament injury or small chip of bone and ligament injury. Injuries may take upto 8 weeks. Seeing the injured person and X rays would be helpful in decision making.
