Sprained ankle so doc put it in a cast last Saturday saying ligament torn. The cast hampers my movement and my ankle does not pain but my feet and knee has started paining due to the weight of the cast. Should I remove the cast ? Will ankle braces available in market help?

Proper padded(stockinette and soft cotton rolls) fiber cast (walking cast) immobilises the joint best. So better healing of ligaments. Keep limb elevated and keep on moving toes. Walking cast helps u to walk after few days once swelling decreases.
