Caries tooth
From last 4 days she is getting severe tooth ache because of cavities in one of the enamel having difficulty to eat on that side and today we do observe some swelling on the cheek. She recently got vaccinated for corona virus and we are in a dilema weather to take any painkillers or antibiotic as there was news spreading that post corona vaccine one shouldn't take any painkiller.Please help to get out of it.

May be her cavity is deep inside that’s why she’s having pain and swelling. Because if the infection get reached to the nerves of any tooth it causes pain and swelling. As she’s vaccinated try to avoid medication for few days or consult your physician . But if she’s having severe pain than she can use clove and warm saline(water and salt) rinses.

Hi practo user Please consult physician for this you should not take any other antibiotics or painkillers atleast for 15 days post vaccination. Then after you can consult me online for better treatment
