Once cap is done then that teeth is completely cover by cap for whole life because cap is fits after sharping that teeth. this means that your teeth have cover under cap whole life

Hello, Yes technically, it is done but after some years there can be little changes like change in colour of cap, the sealant that fixes cap and tooth may weaken and the can break during mean time. That means average life of crown is 8-10 years. Hope it will help you. Regards
