Canola oil good enough ?
Is imported canola oil available in market safe for consumption, I read articles talking about them being GMO in nature and also have long term effects on health. Since there are lesser quality checks on cooking oils, I am worried about using canola. What is the next best option apart from Olive oil which is very expensive for day to day use ? Is physically refined rice bran and sunflower oil in 80:20 proportion better ?

See canola oil is good source. .. All safflour oil , sunflower oil, Rice bran oil, mustard oil, saffola gold ( good enough), all are good source of MUFA's and PUFA's... Important thing change your cooking oil every month

Canola oil is known to be best after few other vegetable oils. But your concern is about GMO and not type of oil. Also the ratio you mentioned is about ricebran oil and sunflower oil,  that ratio is not available in market today, unless if you could explain it to me. Let's discuss

Keep changing ur refined oils on monthly basis . Don’t use them fr long time . Try to put minimum quantity as small tea spoon in food as they are not that good to be eaten in good amounts . Consult personally for proper guidance and results

Hello, Ideal way to you any oil is, keep on changing the ingredient of oil that you are using. Means every month use different oil like one month rice bran, next month  sunflower, next month groundnut oil ,next sesame oil etc keep on changing it. As per nutrition composition the Rice bran oil should be said as best oil  due to its fatty acid composition which is said to be near to ideal oil's fatty acid composition.  You can use rice bran oil and sunflower oil . But keep on changing oils and keep on changing blend of oil to get benefits of every oil. So that you will not have any lack or excess nutrient from oil.
