Depends on which cancer you are talking about and what genetic mutations we are considering .
There are genetic syndrome which can increase risk of cancer , syndromes like BRCA 1 or 2 , HNPCC increase lifetime risk in levels of 70-80% or sometimes even more .
But most cancers that we see typically in advanced age are not genetics related though you can always attribute a small percentage to it .
