Hi,
This is a general question. But if we put it in simple words. Usually most of the cancers/ malignancies have 4 stages ( Stage I-IV) considering Stage I as earliest and Stage IV being the advanced. Treatment for Stage IV depends on the location of cancer and the organ involving it. Even most of the Stage IV cancers have treatments.
