I have loss of hair on beard which is alopecia areata. Can be treated by onitments? Or injection is the only way by which it can be cured.

Topical applications helps, but depending upon extent and duration. But injections are better options than topicals alone, rather both can be combined for good results.

It depends on the area of hairloss. Injections are always better as the results are excellent. But if you are not willing to go for injection then you can start with creams and according to the results further treatment can be decided
