Can slip disc be cured permanently?
Hi, I have had slip disc twice from last year. L5.  I have started core exercises and my pain seems to be reducing day by day, it's been almost 2 weeks and I'm unable to sit or stand for long time not sure how long will it take to get back normal !! But I'm really not sure if my slip disc issue can be cured permanently. Should I do exercises for rest of my life to make sure it doesn't occur again ?(I'm willing to do exercises but I might stop some day n will my slip disc re-occur)   Also in case I get pregnant after 1-2 years, will my pregnancy phase be difficult due to slip disc history.

First of all don't worry, it's a totally curable condition. It takes time to settle (around 95 percent patients get complete relief within 1 year). You can plan pregnancy later on. There will be no issue in pregnancy because of this. Continue exercises, avoid forward bending and weight lifting ( like lifting bucket full of water, etc)
Next Steps
If pain increases at any point of time or u need any further assistance, u can consult me through practo video consultation.
