Can Nature Made supplement be taken
Hello Doctor, I am in my first trimester (5 weeks). Heard Vitamin A can't be taken .. so not even any supplements with vit A. I had bought Nature Made multi + DHA but it contains beta carotene form of vit A. Please refer the attached image. Can it be safely taken ? Thanks, Shilpa

Hi It’s not advised to take any supplements on own .. please consult doctor for advise on taking any kind of multi vitamins / supplementation for that matter.. As you are in your first trimester it’s all the more not recommended to take any supplements on own and it’s highly advised to take doctor opinion before going for any such products for consumption purpose.
Next Steps
Advise from a doctor/ gynaec will help you in taking the safest and relevant option for you especially when pregnant.. Don’t take without doctors opinion...

Hi, It’s better to avoid this as well. You can get natural DHA from foods like walnuts, flax seeds and fish. In the first trimester you need Folic acid supplement, which will be prescribed to you by your gynaecologist.
Next Steps
Consult a gynaecologist.
Health Tips
Do not take any medication or supplement without expert advice or prescription.
