Can i take unsaturated fat?
I hav been advised to avoid fat and cholesterol due to diagnosis of gallbladder polyp (3mm). I am 32y m with active lifestyle. I see after avoiding food m losing considerable amount of weight. I have few questions please help me to understand pointwise if possible. 1. Gastro surgeon asked to repeat usg after 1 year, but i worry if it increases within few months and turn to cancer? No family history through. So should I repeat usg in every 4-5 months? 2. I have been advised to avoid fat but which type of fat? Can i take unsaturated fat in big amounts? Also can i take fish oil supplements? 3. I have back ache near the right lower rib when i contract those muscles in that are and rib feels tender to touch. Is that because of polyp? 4. Will taking whey or mass gainer affect/aggravate this? Please help me to understand these points. My reports: kft, lft, cbc, urine, thyroid all clear. Please help with the above points

The risk of cancer depends on type of polyp u have U can get usg every 6 months for your satisfaction as it is a harmless test Avoid triglycerides mainly You can take fish oil supplements if u want Polyps usually don’t cause tenderness of ribs Protein supplements don’t have any known effects on gb polyp
