Hi.
Usually the medicines take 10-15 days to show their results while the side effects start early in treatment, most of them however settle by themselves within a week.
If you are feeling more energy and unable to sleep, first thing is to take Flunil in morning after breakfast. Practice sleep hygiene techniques for better sleep along with it.
Taking psychotherapy along with medicines also helps in keeping the dose to minimum.
If the side effects persist even after 2 weeks, consult with your doctor again for review of medicines.
Next Steps
wait and watch, shift dose to morning if not already done.

If you feel more energetic after starting any antidepressant then it is important to rule out "switch over" ...
Which means you can stop medicine till you consult a good psychiatrist.
If u have mild OCD then psychotherapy can be helpful...
Rubber band technique...etc
Hi it is good that you are thinking of reducing the Medication. However OCD needs higher doses of flunil for a better response. Also combining CBT techniques will help you.
