Flunil usually don't cause weight gain. Duration of treatment depends on the number of episode you had in past and severity of symptoms. Discuss with your psychiatrist before stopping it.

You should consult your Psychiatrist once before stopping medication. There is proper way to stop these medicines. Don't stop in one go.
