Can I feed marrygold biscuits for infant
My son is 5months 20 days old.can I feed him marry gold biscuits to him??? Some are saying don't give biscuits because they are preservatives but some are saying to give.which one I should follow??? At the same time for home cerilac some are saying not to add any salt or sugar for infants but some are saying

you can start with solid feeds once your child completes 6 months. as far as biscuits are concerned they are a big no as per my opinion since they contain maida and sugar. you may or may not add a pinch of salt to the homemade cerelac, but sugar again is a no go. prefer using natural sweeteners such as banana, dates, apple, pear etc as much as possible.

At this age,you can give 1 solid meal including curd and Banana in the diet in addition to whatever you prepare at home,and 5 milk feeds including one top formula feed using a spoon and katori. Biscuits are not harmful,but don't have any nutritive value,avoid them. As for spices,since they are used in minute quantities,apart from making food tasty,they again have NO harmful effects,DO use them to make food interesting.

you can start giving biscuits once your child starts accepting regular home foods like rice porridge dal etc... definitely after 6 months only...👍
