Can GERD cause high BP
Since a month i am taking bp med, now since last 4 days , i am having minor chest pain. Sour taste in mouth etc and high Bp . The doctor suspects its GERD , can it also cause high Bp ?

Along with your antihypertensive medication if you take any drug like aspirin there are high chances that it causes gastritis and gerd symptoms, though gastric cause can cause chest pain like symptoms being a hypertensive would suggest you to have a cardiac evaluation for your chest pain
