Can cold or fever cause high TSH
I woke up with blocked nose and mild through pain(only uncomfortable when swallowing) and also the temperature was 99 and reached till 101.9. As I have prebooked full body check up for today and got the above mentioned symptoms. I went through giving sample for blood test. The results show that TSH is 6 where as T3,T4 are within the limits. Also ESR is comparitively high. CRP is also higher than mentioned intervals.
Please suggest if this has anything to do with fever? Should I go for a retest after fews days once my fever is gone? Please help me understand.
