Can bacterial infection cause fever
From last week I am having fever. At night the fever is very high. I do not have any shivering or cough. I have high blood sugar and I am talking calcium tablets. I am 45 year old female. My husband says it is due to some bacteria infection. I want to know can bacterial infections causes fever?

hi.. as per your history u have mentioned that the fever has been there for a week especially at night. it would be advised to get your blood work up done that is your complete blood count and also investigations to rule out dengue,malaria or typhoid since the fever has lasted a week. Depending on the report the physician will start the appropriate course of treatment and prescribe antibiotics too if needed
