There is a callus on the foot that appears hard, thickened, and yellowish in color. The surrounding skin is rough and firm to touch. The area becomes painful when pressed, touched, or while walking, causing discomfort during movement. The hardened patch stands out compared to the normal skin and feels less flexible.

It's not callus...it's CORN FOOT..
Medication should be taken...
If needed debridement ( cleaning the wound area by removing outer layers of affected skin) should be done..
Should and must go to nearby hospital....
Corn foot.
Apply corn cap.
One cap for 5 to 7 days not to soak.
In 3 caps it will come out as a whole.
Than do dressing yo feel up the gap with oral medicine.
you are describing a callus, which commonly develops due to repeated friction or pressure on that part of the foot
Next Steps
Soak your foot in warm water and gently rub the area with a pumice stone to soften it.
Keep the skin moisturized with a thick foot cream.
Wear properly fitting, cushioned footwear to reduce friction.
Avoid cutting the callus yourself, as this can lead to infection.

Well I would need more details, but it looks like the skin has hardened due to tight footwear. Especially people who are not used to wearing formal shoes can have this.
Next Steps

You can use a corn patch
Moisturize it well
if it still doesn't get better, you can contact me anytime.
It looks like a hard corn. Start by wearing soft, comfortable footwear and during nighttime you can soak your feet in warm water for 10-15 minutes everyday. You will have to follow it up with a cream/corn cap.
