Calcium Supplement Help
There are so many brands offering different types of calcium salts... some having vitamin d3.. some with calcitriol.. magnesium... Omega 3... Vitamin k2-7... folic acid... Its a mixture of so many things... and some just the calcium salt with one or two extra supplements... Its so confusing... so many brands shelcal 500... shelcal hd... supracal 2000... shelcal xt.. shelcal ct... so much confusion... Calcium Carbonate is good or Calcium citrate... kidney side effect or not...easy to digest or not... WHAT TO TAKE ???. Every doctor has a different recommendation... different salts.. unknown brands of hardly ever heard pharma manufacturers. .. All claiming ours has more efficacy.. Please help what to start with for a lady who is diabetic and over 65 years of age.. and also is taking iron supplements for low Haemoglobin

What are the symptoms?. Normally, we  take a  balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals. We should not take too much of calcium suppliments.  It may lead to other complications like renal calculi etc. Cause of calcium deficiency must be investigated and treated accordingly.

Calcium citrate is good.. give calcium supplements after breakfast Iron supplements after dinner
