CA125 level of 99
I have an ovarian cyst of 5cms. It is mentioned in the transvaginal ultrasound scan that cysts could be Haemorragic / Endometriotic cyst. The CA 125 level is 99 U/ml.  Is CA125 of 99 dangerous ? Does CA125 level raise for normal ovarian cyst also or does it raise only for Endometriosis ?

Most likely it is endometriotic cyst as ca-125 is elevated. Better to get it removed laparoscopically especially if u trying to conceive

CA 125 is raised in many conditions like endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory diseases or in certain cancers In your case, raised value can be due to endometriosis
