Given your age, high daily step count, long-term jogging history, normal metabolic tests, and relief with ice packs, the most likely causes are overuse-related nerve irritation, exercise-induced small-fiber neuropathy, or plantar nerve compression (burning feet syndrome) rather than diabetes or vitamin deficiency. This is commonly seen in highly active older adults with sustained repetitive foot impact.
Next Steps
Review and upgrade footwear to well-cushioned, shock-absorbing running shoes with adequate forefoot space • Use gel or silicone insoles to reduce plantar nerve stress • Reduce impact load without stopping activity: mix jogging with brisk walking or cycling on some days • Continue post-exercise ice application, which is clearly helping • Add calf, plantar fascia, and intrinsic foot muscle strengthening exercises • A short, low-dose neuropathic pain modulator may help if symptoms persist, under medical guidance
Health Tips
• Avoid ignoring progressive burning, numbness, or night pain • If symptoms worsen or start affecting sleep, a nerve conduction study / small-fiber neuropathy evaluation may be needed • Avoid barefoot walking on hard surfaces • Do not keep increasing mileage until symptoms are controlled

Review the jogging shoes, should be thick, feet well enclosed and comfortable. If results are normal,  take tab gabba pentin 300mg one morning and one evening for 15 days. Tab neurobion forte one daily for 15 days. Reduce amt of running for some time.Once you get relief, resume and then increase gradually. Connect online   after 2 weeks. Treatment can be reviewed after 2 weeks.

This appears more consistent with overuse-related or small-fiber neuropathic pain rather than systemic disease. With shoe correction, surface modification, neuropathic support, and load adjustment, most runners can continue activity safely with good symptom control.
Next Steps
lower limb doppler scan to ruled out Deep vein thrombosis (DVT).
